Over 8 stretches to infinity. 😂 😂 😂

Wondering if anyone who has grown Catasetinae could weigh in on these spots. The plant arrived with them. Some of the other plants I have purchased have arrived with black dots but fewer than these. And these in particular seem more like divots than spots. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
I also had plants shipped with those same black dots on them. While I don't know exactly what they are, they never spread further and never appeared again on new growth the following year. so, I did not think much of it. Just keep your eyes on it but I doubt it is anything to be alarmed about.

A couple of my Clowesias get these. Not sure what they are as my conditions are generally pretty dry. My guess would be water sitting on the plants too long.

Thank you. Maybe it won't have to stay in quarantine quite so long. :)

SVO 8106 Catasetum ( De Etta Harris ‘Green Godess’ x Melana Davison ‘Summer Snow’)
In the past (first two photos from 2021, photo#3 from Wednesday and the last photo from today) the flowers were lighter green and the spike would grow horizontally and then arch over.
Much darker green this time & a bit fewer spots. The green color is a lot darker in person than the photo shows.
Typical semi-sweet menthol scent
And interestingly the spike is upright.
