Recommended by Hackneau on his web site as one of the best semi albas.
It’s a bit of a beast. Second flowering and now fully established. Everything about it screams polyploid. It’s big and chunky with thick petals. Pretty impressive.

The flowers are 6 inches across and nearly 7 inches high and have super substance and I can just detect the start of some scent.
With luck there will be a second set of flowers in the spring form the next growth,

Well that is where I grow mine for most of the year. Pretty strong sun in a south facing window. You can see some scorch on some of the older leaves. But plants adapt if you are careful. Some catts love very high light. Laelia purpurata loves it. Much of summer this year was outside in some shade as it was so warm and dry. So I grow mine warm and indoors and accept that some will fail. They get binned and the others kept. It’s a form of selection for my conditions. Most make it.
