No. After flowering the roots grow all summer and the new shoots start in autumn and grow over winter. You can give a short rest before the roots start but I just keep watering. The trick with this species is to know that it grows in winter so you need fertilizer light heat and water then. jongheana, warneri, tenebrosa are the same. Probably velutina too.
