No Tom, it's a winter grower like tenebrosa and jongheana. Shoots grow over winter and roots grow over summer. You need to give it some water over the winter to keep it plump but it's mainly using it's reserves to grow the new shoots. Roots come after flowering in spring. If you remember those points it's pretty easy but if you treat it as a winter dormant kind you will kill it.Fantastic! This species needs a light/drier winter rest to bloom......is it? I always thought so.
On a treefern mount but all you can see is roots. I need to break it up and I'm not looking forward to it!Such an impressive display! It's not an easy plant to keep alive, and you are flowering it well! Congrats!
