Flowered beautifully by DavidB. Almost got a culture award today but was 3 points short of the 80 points needed. Nonetheless a great specimen. NS 14.1 cm.

I selected this as a first bloom seedling from Brazil in 2019.

Yes mini flares. Good eye!

An example of a labiata with vigor. Yes it has been here for 5 years, but there are already 2 divisions of this plant from back bulbs that are currently in sheath/bud. The plant above in a 6" pot has 4 leads in flower and will be kept together and moved to a larger pot when ready. Better luck next time, perhaps increased floriferousness will lead to consideration of a CCM.
