Well what a difference a year can make. Last years blooming was distinctly underwhelming but this year, after producing a much larger growth, we have a couple of wonderful blooms. This plant was bought several years ago, pre Brexit, labelled as ‘mariauxi’, a famous breeder. I’d always thought that this was unlikely, given the flowers it had produced, now I’m not so sure. Whatever it is, it’s a definite keeper now.
