Cattleya mossiae semialba

I bought this plant labeled as cattley mossiae var. coerulea but now when she's flowering the flowers don't look like var. coerulea but like var. semialba. I like them a lot and am not angry when it's var. semialba but would be lucky, if some other Catt. guys or ladies here could confirm this.

That waterfall pattern is red magenta, so confirmed semialba.

Beautiful simi-alba or as they used to be called Reineckiana which actually means white mossiae with purple throat.

Indeed you are right, the scent is sweet and lovely.

Today I cut the flower spike of this plant because the flowers started to wilt. So they were in flower for more then 4 weeks quite a long time for a Cattleya. I'm more than pleased with this plant.
