Many thanks.I got it from Regina Elsner, several years ago.She was so kind and offered me a divison from her own plant.This one is not the cheapest plant in my collection.

Another stunning trianaei, congrats!

I've seen that crimson color in the lip of some other photos of trianaei, is that color quite specific to this species or can some of the other uni-foliate Cattleyas also exhibit this color? Maybe some of the purpurata clones get close to it?

Istvan, as a selfing that seems to be very close to the parent. The old English aphorism would be “The apple didn’t fall very far from the tree.”

Crimson colour is often seen in lips of labiata types cattleyas.
This is third time bloomer, but this one is the best flower so far .

Like alway in life...you have to pay for beauty.....though when I bought plants from Regina E. the prices were alway reasonable ones.
