Those guys are really nice... they are quite slow but when they show the flowers you forgive them for all the time you spent waiting...

Here it is quite hot for them specially for the caudatum but they are starting to do it fine.

I've made some interesing crosses... for example warscewiczianum x anguloi... lets see if I can get some seed!

Love your wallisii. Mine is giving me a hard time. Congrats!!!
warscewiczianum x anguloi...hummm...me want !!!

So nice! I love the petals on both. :)
May I ask you how you grow your Caudatum? I have a Causatum 'Jon Sauer' and a phrag. Red Lightning 'Windy Hill' x Caudatum 'Windy Hill' (both seedling) that I hope will have nice healthy blooms like yours one day. :)

Jenn and Eric there is not a secret method.
Actually my growing conditions are quite hot for both species... I grow them in partial shade. They grow better a little dryer than other phrags... avoid sitting them in water.
They are slow growers so you will need a little bit of patience.

Thanks! I have read they're slower growers, and like it a bit drier. Unfortunately I can't put them outside year round, unless I want Phrag-sicles. ;)
My setup is around 72-77ºF day, 58-62ºF night. I do have a single 2' 24W T5 light, with some sun (setup by Northern window.)

I'm sure I'll have enough patience; I'm more concerned with the health of the plants than with how fast they grow :D
