My poor, confused percivaliana is blooming now instead of Christmas. There are 2 growths with 3 buds each. The first is just about to open.

I call it "lard soap" because it reminds me of the smell of the soap I remember making way back in elementary school. Not particularly pleasant, but not overly objectionable either.

In Bloom Again

I'm really starting to like this plant-3rd blooming this year (January, June, Sept.). Even the "fragrance" is starting to grow on me .
