That does not look good. Cut the leaf off or send it back for a refund. I think it could be because of how and for how long it was closed up in a box for shipping.
Lindleyi prefers to be mounted in my experience. It likes good sunshine, water after plant has completely dried off. But that is growing it forward, yours just arrived with a problem. To get them to bloom, you have to with hold water in the fall, let them really grow pretty dry until you see bloom spikes. Flowers last up to a week.

Thank you. I will send these pictures to the vendor right now. It was sent two day air with a heat pack so.....I would prefer to think that this developed in the box and wasn't sent in this condition. Thanks for the detailed cultural info. I was planning on growing it with/like my Catasetinae but it is in quarantine now.
