Hi guy,my friend send to my the pics of his philippinense in bloom and asked me if I could publish It on slippertalk .
He is curious to know what you think about his plant and if someone of you know what kind of Philippinense is it?

Fricken huge plant, phillipinense is my favorite multi species, seems like it would have thrown up a few more spikes, very nice

Can you tell us if the plant is a result of line breeding? Clearly it has a lot of the roebellini variety in it. Your friend has do well. Very healthy looking plant.

Can you tell us if the plant is a result of line breeding?

he bought it ,I don't remember exactly ,maybe 1 or 2 years ago from Elsner, a german seller and is labelled as philippinense roebelinii.
and I'm pretty sure that him was just looking for a roebelinii type.
