One of the things that I can now grow in the maritime climate of west Cornwall are disas, outside year round. With no frosts to speak of they’re straight forward. Just sit in trays of tap water and feed very occasionally. They sit with a couple of sarracenias that like the same conditions.
I’m lucky that one of the members of the local orchid society is a keen grower and breeder of these lovely things and he sells his cast offs a couple of times a year at meetings.
Both these are hybrids, first is Dorothy grace kindred and next trata. There are multiple spikes in most pots so the next month should see a good show.
