Dracula vampira ‘Zorba’ AM/AOS

Zorba has been a reliable bloomer for me were others have been more reluctant. Always a pleasure when the big Draculas bloom.

Do you have a special chamber for growing these or is a typical greenhouse in the west coast good enough to keep them happy?

I have all the Draculas on “the cool end” of my greenhouse where the swamp cooler is and also have heavy misters there as well. The misters go off once a day in the summer and in the winter they are turned off. Dracs just get watered once a week in winter, 2x in summer. Same ferts as all the other orchids with no ill effects. Turns out that they DO want fertilizer to grow well. Lol
