I finally bloomed an epi! Only a few more to go and they're hybrids, not species!
Slight fragrance at night, did you guess that?

Does yours smell like Mentholatum chest rub!? Mine blooms fairly often, and I always get a pretty strong whiff when I pass it.

It bloomed last month so my recollection of the scent is weakening, maybe it was menthol like??? I'm going to make a note of that & pay more attention next time! This was the first time it bloomed & it's suppose to be a successive bloomer, is that the case with yours?

I'd say menthol is a pretty good description of the scent. Mine is usually successive. I'd say it usually produces about 3-4 flowers per spike before it dries up. It always tends to have a flower or two on it, and it seems that the larger, more mature growths tend to produce more flowers.
