Glad you all enjoyed the vid. Here is the companion, this time focusing on the trees, river, and waterfalls.

And a teaser photo of an article I'm writing now.

Beautiful, both of the videos !!!!!

Whereas the fern/moss sequence is extremely interesting, I liked to relax with the sound of the water, and watching the beautiful images of fall colors and waterflow! Thanks Tom!

Btw. I thought I spotted a large white mushroom in the second video, but then it began to move: must have been an umbrella :) !!

Thanks for the very interesting excursion Tom, I still hope to visit Japan in my lifetime.

Thanks for watching everyone. The intention is to bring my experience here directly to anyone interested in a convenient, and hopefully, informative way. I condense down what I'm actually seeing, almost step by step, especially in the last video. So, you are getting an actual view into the world I talk about in my articles.

Jean, making the second video mostly free from my banter was intentional. The beauty of such a lovely place speaks for itself. Yes, there were lots of mushrooms that day, both human and otherwise :rollhappy:

Tom's voice is also very calm.

Just think what these videos would be like if this was like a crocodile hunter version!!

Wine and Red Bull in one gulp!
