Eurychone rothschildiana

Not my usual type of orchid, but this one has been love at first sight. It has beautiful ruffly Phal-type foliage and the flowers have a wonderful cinnamon fragrance. Seems to be very easy to bloom and grow under Phal conditions so fits right in.

It's about the size of a small Phal. This plant's current spread is around 7 inches.

So cute! I bought one not in bloom just because the plant looked so adorable in its little wooden basket, I just had to have it! Can't wait to see mine bloom, too!
