Excitement for Two Paph. charlesworthii in bud

I can’t hold back my anticipation to post once flowers open since two of my Charles are in bud:

First pic:
Nominate species
(is it called the nominate or standard or wild type when not the Alba form/color/variety)? - first time to bloom

Second pic:
v. Alba with two buds (had a third but
blasted since I waited too long to bring inside from my 85-90 degrees in Florida Summer): - has bloomed twice prior 2/2020 and 9/2020

My nominate charlesworthii has finally opened. The flower shape is not as nice as the Spring flower shape but I’ll take what I get when it comes to any blooming and especially a species.

I love charlesworthii's. Mine is almost completely open. It's the second paph I've been able to bloom since I got back into orchids.

That is the flower shape I was hoping for and think of when I think charlesworthii. Well done!

Yeah right, I bought it from Paph Paradise. Only had it about 6 months. Plant is really small. Let's see if I can get it to bloom again next year.

Yes it does look like it got in a bar fight lol. In better days it has an AM/AOS called 'Greed Tea' lol.

This is the best attitude to avoid disappointment. But to say it frankly this flower looks more natural to me than the one of Paphfreak Though that one represents mor the zeitgeist of breeding.
