That is a lovely clone. A nice chunky flower, great prtal stance and unlike a lot of this species the dorsal opens right up.

That's cute. I've considered getting one, since I've started seeing them for sale again in recent history. The price is still kind of high, and if I'm going to pay the current typical price, I'd want to get one of the smaller growing clones.

The petals look wider then a typical clone. Is this true?

It is wider compared to my other two plants. I would rather say that they are wider relative to the overall size of the flower. It's not well established as I got them bare root two months ago so maybe next flowering could even be better. If I can. Definitely the dorsal is rounder and more erect and the petals are really held up high. Love this clone. BTW, I got this from Ten Shen. Matt has really surprised with some quality plants so far. He's got a good source in Taiwan, looks like.

It is good to see that flying wilhy refers to one that looks like it is soaring rather than one you threw out a 27th floor window for under-performing. Excellent clone.

I second you on that gego, I'm happy with matts plants, got a paul parks from him, now has lots of new roots, nice wilminae!!
