Hi from the Hudson Valley of NY

Hi all, I've been growing orchids far about 30 yrs, mostly phals, oncidium & oncidium intergenerics. About 6 yrs ago, I got bitten by the paph bug and have been trying to figure them out. I have 4 or 5 different paph species and a few multi- floral hybrids. This has been a great year for my paphs, I had a Michael Koopowitz, lowii and now a roth bloom for me. They were especially satisfying because all 3 were purchased as very young plants and I've been trying not to kill them for several years.:rollhappy:
I grow mostly on a east windowsill, with some going into the basement under lights in the winter. I let them back upstairs if they decide to spike & flower:).
I've started to practice much better culture since finding this site and while I don't have great conditions or a lot of cash to improve some culture requirements, I've learned a lot lurking around here. Thanks !!

Bill
