Here are the second flower pics of this species, the others did not flower agian, but at least I managed now to grow them over 5 years,
And thsi one flowers the second time but different then last year.

Hey Dido, growing them for five years is an accomplishment. In the wild I've seen ones that have the typical bicolored flower and ones like yours - essentially all purple. I suspect temperatures can be part of the reason.

Last year it was a bicolored one have to search the pic, should be somewhere in this forum too.

interesting that yours and the ones near cortland, ny are flowering at the same time. nice work! there are three color forms of showy orchis; bicolor, lots of pink and alba

This is interesting,
so I hope one day the second one I have grown from seedling too, and was planted with the other one will bloom one day.
the leaves are bigger but no flower comming out, and it is 10 cm different between the both.
