Ghost pepper plants

Congratulations! My experience with eating commercial hot sauce mainly consisting of ghost peppers was likened to putting a propane torch in my mouth . But there are several colors/heat levels/flavors of ghost peppers so some may be ‘better’ than others. It’s a long hot summer! Many more peppers to come

I’ve grown a lot of pepper varieties over the years, but one of my favorites are Padron (pimientos de Padrón). The Spanish use them as a tapas pepper. Not generally hot, but 1 in 10 might surprise you. Very productive, too.

A professor of mine used to make ghost pepper jelly. I took his word that it was delicious and never tried it myself.

Pretty productive for such small plants. I pulled off 40 already. There’s about 30/40 still working
