So many nice displays, lovely orchids, and looks like a high proportion of slippers in the mix!

I think that 23 plants made it to the judging tables. Of that I think 14 or possibly 15 were slippers.

Sorry, I don't know who has it outside of the owner of the plant. Many of his cultivars are Duck Creek and sometimes he sells under than name. He sells from his private collection though.

We had a much higher number of slippers this time than usual. Generally there are more Cattleya Alliance represented. Someone mentioned that its has been a bit darker than normal in Cleveland. Maybe that is throwing things off.

We had 23 cloudy days in January. Eek!

What a show. Interesting to see Dendrochilum still in use after learning just this week that it’s Coelogyne (I think I’m remembering that right?). Wish I could see the names on the little Cymbidiums.

I wonder if the Via Ojai is the "Sylvia" HCC/AOS clone. I have a division that looks just like it.
