This doesn't seem to be a popular species to grow, but I think that individual flowers look quite exotic (as with many species in this genus). It's a wide-spread species, and relatively common in Florida. This one is from Lee's Botanical Gardens. A link to my blog post.

It's wacky looking because it was getting neglected in a tank with insufficient height.
