Hien, with your calculation still one percent is missing !
I would be cautious...because there is a difference between the tag (Paph. hangianum) and the naming of the offer (Paph. Alexej) with the first plant and the second plant doesn't look really healthy. Just my impression.

I always try to find out what the parents look like in order to guess the potential of the cross.
I search the internet and found one of the parents, the one with the pollen used in the cross, hangianum Yang-Ji Gold Medal /Taiwan Orchid Growers Association

Anything is possible. However the seller is in New York. So the plant would have to be grown indoors (window, lights, greenhouse) at least for the winter. It was neglected indoor most recently. The way the hangi is laying over at the top makes me very leery of its health.

I don't know about micranthum album , so seeing this winning bid , I was kind of surprised ,can anyone tell me whether this particular parentage normally fetch this price or the album is rarely on the market (the starting price was at 10.00 ) ?

Yes, looking at all of the listing from the seller, I can not help but think that perhaps the owner can not physically taking care of the plants anymore , and a friend or relative (who doesn't grow orchids) put up the plants on ebay for him/or her .
For example , one plant listed exactly as the tag abbreviation JFH-526 , not the full name (does anyone know what does this code stand for? what hybrid name is JFH? is this a cross code for the compot?)

That has to be shill bidding, no way someone really paid that much for an almost dead micranthum.
