Welcome from just south of the Cheddar Curtain, (go Bears) I live just south of Kenosha in Zion IL. By the way, I hope you made it to the WOS Orchid Show at the Mitchell Domes, in Milwaukee, it is always the second or third weekend in September, mark your calendar for next year. I am regularly a vendor there. It is a good show, and not that far from you. Consider attending a few meetings, and if you like what you see join the Wisconsin Orchid Society http://www.wisconsinorchidsociety.com they have monthly meetings the first Sunday of the month, it's a good group.

Thanks! I know where Zion is, I grew up in Marengo. I was able to go to the orchid show last year, but just couldn't get there this year ...but that's okay, I probably would have tried to buy one of everything!! I'll put it on my calendar for next year, and certainly plan to attend some meetings. Just wish they were a little closer, though it could be a longer drive! Thanks for the suggestion!!
