I just found my Caudatum is in low bud! Wonder of wonders. I didn't think the &^%^$ thing would
ever bloom. So glad you mentioned that your plant is in bud or I'd never have seen mine. Thank

So what does a bud even look like? I have a teeny sliver of a leaf coming from the crown of the plant. It could be a new leaf, or it could be a flower. Too early to tell at this point.

it takes a bit of time to even notice the bud. The bud follows the newest leaf for a time and
then begins to emerge...slowly. I had to touch the spike tenderly to even tell it was
there. Good luck to you if you have caudatum. It ain't an easy one to bloom.
