Just new here to this forum, and thought I'd say hello!!!!! So Hello!!!! I have been into orchids for just over a year. I started with one plant, and now have 27ish? maybe more, haven't counted in a few weeks. My collection consists of Paphs, Phals, Phrags, 1 Oncid. Sherry baby (for the fragrance), a few catts, and I can't recall the rest. I will post in that forum where we make the lists. I do not like the floofy orchids. Thus why I'm on a slipper orchid forum. I am looking forward to learning form you all and getting to know you as well. I currently grow in a bookshelf set-up. Kinda small and very shotty looking, but it does the trick so far, my 'chids seem happy. I am building a stand next weekend and have HUGE ideas for the room my fiance so graciously let me have for "My" room. So yeah, I guess that's all for now, happy to be here and can't wait to learn, chat and of course GROW!!!! Jimi:drool:

I LOVE MINNESOTA!!!!! Went to Bemidji State University!!! I still get up there every August for some Walleye fishin'!!!! Thank You. I hear there are slippers up there near Cass lake, have you ever visited them, if so, when do they bloom. I wasn't intoorchids when I was up there so it really didn't matter to me then. I'd love to get up there to see them.
