That was a pleasant surprise when it showed a sheath last winter. First bloom on a seedling I've been growing up for 4 years. From a selfing of an awarded Taiwanese cultivar, nat. spread 12,5 cm.
Certainly the flower in my GH that got me most excited this season. Enjoy!

Dear Carsten,
congratulations.
Could you show us more detailed the staminode. Normally the hirsutissimum clones have always brownish hairs at the base. That is the reason why the albino of hirsutissimum was never described officially.
Could you show us also a picture of the backside with the ovary, if it is hairy or glabrous?
