Hi everyone. My name is Mark. I live in central Michigan. I've been popping in here for quite a long time now, reading your posts and looking at your photographs. SlipperFan suggested I just sign up and join in on the fun (she lives nearby) so I finally took her advice and did so.
I've been growing orchids on and off (mostly on) for more years than I care to admit. Since the late 1990s I've focused my attention mainly on collecting and growing various cultivars of Neofinetia falcata, but now I've been expanding my collection to include other minis as well. I don't have a greenhouse (yet) so the plants must content themselves with living under artificial lights for now. I seem to have great success in their culture for the most part.
I also enjoy gardening outdoors, but my recent move into a townhome has pretty much decimated my outdoor gardening activities. Eventually this situation will change for the better, and I have high hopes of gardening outside once again - alongside a shiny new greenhouse. I just have to be patient and wait things out for a year or two.
