I agree, I have never seen a translucent such as this one either.

the more I try to find pictures of jackiis alba on the web the more confused I get; Very often, plants presented as alba actually have some color on the staminode (as mine does)

So what ? alba or not alba (personally I would say NOT alba due to the staminode color)

A true albino flower will not have any red pigment. These are albinistic wanna be's........A selfing would probably give some albino flowers. This is a lovely flower!

A true alba is entirely white, and this term is consistently misused.
