No, the Mexican laeliinae usually aren't.Harmonious colors and a very upright dorsal. Fragrant?
And if you don't have high humility and the spikes aren't getting sprayed with water the "Happy Sap" can prevent the buds from coming out of the leafy sheeths and the blooms properly opening. Also a disadvantage for the home grower.Your Laelia anceps is a very pretty one.
I like L. ancps and L. gouldiana in general .... but they grow such a tall flower spike and this is a bit a disadvantage for growing them on the window sill.
