there was someone in florida who grew very nice lowii's, but didn't deal directly with the public, and think that he often sold to orchid clubs in the area and at orchid shows. can't remember his name offhand but will have to see if I can find it

Might that be Bill Fajen? Excellent grower, and he had some outstanding Phal. lowii a short while back.

name sounds vaguely familiar, but there was the contact who was selling the plants, and another person who was the actual grower (who preferred to remain off the grid)
