I think everyone I know is following the crazy news out of Beantown this week.
Thinking of everyone back home! California is nice and all, but Boston is my home.

I'm so glad my son made it out on time. He had vacation this week...as he was leaving they were just starting to block off the roads, including Beacon St, where he lives. Had he been delayed any further, he would have been called in to the hospital. (He's an ER resident at Harvard Beth Israel Deaconess).

We lived in Boston for 2 years and have dear friends there. It was very traumatic until we knew our friends were safe.
Now I'm mostly angry!!!!!!!!!

So my son came back tonight...all set to work tomorrow. His hospital will be a madhouse, as that's where Tsarnaev is being held.
