I think it's very lovely, but I completely agree -- I see no sukhakulii influence in the flower. And given how dominant that species tends to be in hybridization, I'm assuming this was a mishap. Still a great addition to your collection, the flower color is superb and looks to be quite pretty overall.
 
Assuming a nice sukhakulii was used, why breed with an ugly one, it should have imparted spots to the progeny’s petals. Where are they?
Now with a decent sukhakulii, it is also my understanding that the petals of a progeny should be more on the horizontal, not so downswept.
Could this flower, an really nice flower by the way, be a Maudiae?
