Maybe an oncidium...??

Hello,

1 or 2 years ago, someone here posted an oncidium (as far as I can remember) which had small flowers with brownish and hairy lip (they reminded me of Ophrys flowers of some sort...). I would like to make a little searching on whether I can obtain it or not....!!! I would appreciate some help...!! TY in advance!

Emmm.... I think it looked more like a tolumnia flower, but the lip was curved and hairy, like in Ophrys orchids. I remember it was the biggest part of the flower too...!!

Tol. henneckenii I remember that, hmmmm. I have a couple of unmarked species but I dont think I ever got one, I'll check into that. BTW, My baptistonia has been in spike for like 4 months now, what's it waiting for?

Eric, only spike...no buds open??? Where could someone order a Tol henekenii????

Didn't know it had been reclassified as Tol. but wait a week & they,ll change their minds! Henekenii
is pretty cool but my understanding, harder to grow.

It's doing what it set out to do - drive you crazy! I had one that spiked in summer & then waited & progressed at this time of year. Mine is in spike too but has been progressing nicely, bigger & better than last year I think.
