I purchased this from Happypaphy7 last year. It has a four year history of budding but blasting. Crossing fingers that we’re past that stage this year. It’s from Windy Hill so I’m anxious to see what it looks like. I was gone for a week on vacation but it’s not showing to be any worse for the neglect. However, I’ve probably now cursed it by posting:). (armeniacum ‘Birchwood’ FCC/AOS x Fumi’s Delight ‘Barbara Ann’s Butterbowl’ AM/AOS

At that stage, the buds will be very safe IMO as long as no big temperature swing or water in the semi-open buds. Looking forward to the full open fowers.

Congrats. Do you also grow pure armeniacum? The major difference is the staminode--shape and markings
