it's a little blurred too..he was having difficulty with this one for some reason (may have been the feeling of having to hurry up and be out of the space at 4pm)...this was the best of the four he sent me

Congratulations Ed. What a dorsal on that bloom!

Agree with what others have said about award upgrades- it is difficult to get one and that is why many wait for a subsequent flowering.

But happily you got an AM- so well done!

QF is Quintal Farms.

Had one in my exhibit this weekend that I pulled for judging, but it didn't get awarded. I was too busy to find somebody to give me comments on it about why, I thought it was awardable. Color was excellent, mine had more downward swept petals with some twisting.
