The first flowering of a flask I bought some years ago. It was one of the first flasks which I bought. I don't know how many I have left, I suspect I have lost most of them over the years, but at least those that are left are starting to bloom

Pretty. I suspect that those petals have a lot more curling to do before the flower is mature. I look forward to photos when the flowers are all open.

may I ask how many years from deflasking to flowering?

The reason I ask is that MK is one of my first 3 flasks that I deflasked 5 weeks ago. Im patient by nature, but I can't help asking, "are we there yet?"

I tried to hunt down the original cross details, but I cannot find it, only the original invoice which lists it simply as MK, no details as to the parents, that was on the packing list, but I am afraid that is no longer legible as a result of water damage. (Obviously keeping your file in the greenhouse is not a great idea)

Okay, I'm showing these pictures to my MK, that's busy either sulking, or growing in slo mo (aren't these supposed to be relatively easy? I guess I don't have the touch with MK, my PEoY is doing better). Hopefully it'll get the idea at least.

I think I prefer the first MK here, but that's only because I don't like when they're wide shouldered (total opposite from everyone else I think).
