Sophronitella violacea is a species found in eastern Brazil. It is a monotypic genus, and is probably the smallest orchid I bloomed so far. It's growing in a 2 inch mame bonsai pot, and I have it growing next to some indoor bonsai trees. My first blooming

I read cool conditions. Also good moisture, since I found the pseudobulbs wrinkle if it dries for too long. I don't think it needs extremely cool like masdies though. My windowsill is cool enough, and it is only cool in the winter

Realy lovely. I also have one of this that I got last summer. It is growing well, and 5-6 new bulb. I hope it will bloom as lovely as yours.
