Wow, that is quite a picture. Glad to hear that you saved all but one. Interestingly, like I mentioned, this plant had quite a mass of rotted root underneath it. I removed it but maybe not sufficiently. Poor thing, it has had its feet cut out from underneath it and now it is in the isolation ward which is dim and still. I don't know if it will make it.

Probably lack of proper ventilation and some fungal problems, if the leaves turned yellow it should be fusarium, I hope that's not the case.
I have such a problem 10 years ago, with a bonsai tree. The roots were almost gone. I think you should repot in new pretreated media with physan or fungicide and cut the rotten roots and keep the plant on the dryer side, also continue the treatment with fungicides for 3 weeks. And the most important the plant should be separated from the others.

Thank you for the suggestions. Did the bonsai tree make it? I ended up throwing this plant out. When I went to repot it the few remaining roots were rotten, as was the base of the plant. I wasn't particularly attached to it and decided that trying to rescue it wasn't worth the risk to my other plants. Poor thing. 😕
