I finally decided to go with a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28. From all the pro reviews ,looking at pics taken by amatuers and hearing their feedback, I decided to go with this one. Anyone have this camera ? If so, I hope you have good things to say about it !;)

Is that the new one that also takes movie clips? If so, they loved it on the tech channel we watch. It's also the one my hubby wants to buy when they climb Mt. Shasta. They had it at Costco for the cheapest we've seen it BTW. Again, if this is the camera I think it is...there are so many on the market...

It does take video clips. We don't have Costco here :sob:
Here is a link to one review of the camera, and believe me I know how many cameras there are ! I think I have looked at all of them.

PS I looked at Costco online and Amazon is cheaper but no carrying case is included. Free shipping and no taxes is a + too !

No, it's not the camera I'm jabbering on about. I'd have to google it and I'm feeling lazy. But, it's a small, silver Panasonic with the video clip feature.

Over the past few years I have bought seven (!) of the Canon digital elph cameras for myself, kids, and parents. They are awesome cameras, and priced right at Amazon.
