My most expensive paph - finally in flower again

Haha, yeah, this is the plant that started it and made me a paphoholic. My very first paph.

It has been a difficult one. This is just the second time I have got it to bloom. And it will get two flowers this time.

Yes, I call it Herman

No, I have no idea what cross it is.

I have only had it for about 5-6 years. So as you see, I'm not a very experienced paph grower...yet

man, I wish I still had my first orchid. all gone >_< (But its sacrifice led to my ability to grow better, more exotic things ;-)

I have certainly killed more orchids than I kept alive. My oldest paph is P. purpuratum bought in 1989...it almost died but came around but has not bloomed in 2 years.

Your certainly has a good amount of gratrixianum in it. Very nice!
