A "little" something I have in Bloom right now
I have had it for about a Year and a halfThat is a Paph you don't see every day. Wonderful. How long have you been growing it?
I haven't measured IT, but I think about 100 cm from one leafspan to anotherCongratulations, impressive! How big is it?
Thanks for the inputs. You can see on photos, which is taken in my small greenhouse, the light levels IT Grows in, and fertilizer Wise, I use Pokon a npk 20-20-20 and use a fourth as recommended and fertilize once a month with rain/osmosis water and otherwise with clear water in summer and in Winter when weather is dark and cold I do not fertilize as watering is not so often, a resting period is not essential but watering is not so frequent as in summer, the Media is drying slightly between waterings to promote flowering and temperatures a bit lower than in summer where Day temperatures can reach 30+ degrees celsius in warm periods and about 20-22 degrees at night with about 60-70 percent humidity, and always good ventilation from a electric fan I have...In Winter the temperatures are about 22-24 at daytime and about 15-20 degrees, the gigantifolium likes good warm conditions as I have experienced...The Media I grow IT, and All my slipper Orchids in is a Media called greenmix, a special produced rockwool based mix with a bit of perlite and I have used IT for more than 25 years with great success since my old friend, Orchid Gardener Hans Christiansen introduced IT from the factory he worked with...Its great both keeping moist, but also getting dry when needed, and as IT is a non organic Media IT needs a bit more fertilizing, but IT Works great for All conditions, both in greenhouse and windowsills and is easy to pot the plants with, just put IT loosely around the plants in the pot and a slight press on top
