Last but not least my Paphiopedilum violascens opened its bloom last week

Maybe this is the last blooming Paph for me this year although my P.emersonii is developping a bud but I'm uncertain whether it will bloom this year or not.

Hi Bolero (I like your pseudonym),

I'm an indoor grower an I grow my Brachypetalums on a west facing window sill with strong sun in the afternoon between March to October. In these months they get as much light as possible. Some day they seem to get baked. Unfortunately I never measured the temperature there but I astimate the minimum temperature is about 12-15 °C in cold winter nights (short behind the window pane).
