The nub was peaking out when i received the plant sometime in May this year. The nub finally started to develop into a spike 06.21.16 and 23 days later its finally open. This was the longest and best 23 day I've had to wait for neo buds to open.

I wouldn't say the fragrance is any stronger. Interestingly enough, it's slightly lighter than my other neos. A bit strange I know.

I find it to be more perfumey and less coconutty than other Neos.
