I doubt it is Enid because spicerianum primary hybrids carry its coloration and markings. When you look at Enid, you can instantly tell it is spicerianum hybrid of some sort.

perhaps, villosum x bellatulum?
Even bellaltulum x complex may turn out like this.
 
Pretty sure it's delenatii x complex; the two most common are Rootin Tootin (x Winston Churchill) and Tree of Flamingo (x Mildred Hunter). More info on where the pictured plant came from geographically might help with ID.

I was thinking about such a cross. The plant is grown in Eastern Canada. The owner don't remember where he got it though.
 
Maybe best bet is a Ratcliffe registration, or at least English registration...EYOF did some of this breeding and it might be from Ratcliffe from them...like Robin de Valec. Got a time frame for this? When your friend got it, etc...
