P. "niveum"-not!

I got this plant labelled as niveum. Well, after several years of continuous growing, it was pretty obvious that it was way to large for any niveum I've ever seen. Rougher leaf texture also. Well, it finally bloomed. I'm pretty sure that its really Vanda M Pearman. While the flower looked great when it first opened, after a day it flopped over, and the petals also got floppy. I had to hold it at an awkward angle for the photo, which is why it's not such a great photo.

And I can say that the leaves of that grex have rought texture.

Nothing to be sorry about...I like Vanda M Pearman. I used to have one years ago and it was a good grower and bloomer while it lasted. Although it was never as huge as this one. I had gotten this from Thanh Nguyen, and sent him the photo after it bloomed. He agreed that VMP is what it is, and he's sending me a niveum, even though I bought this from him 2-3 years ago. The guy is definitely a class act!
