Not something you see that often anymore. This reliably blooms for me every three years, haha! Wish it was more often but these things grow so slow.

Hi Jim, thanks. I grow them fairly shaded, nothing like roths or lowii, more like Complex Paph light. The media is large and chunky to accommodate my heavy handed watering. Balanced fertilizer and temp from 85-58, 58 being well below the natural range but they still persist. I bet if I kept the temps 95-65 they would do much better but I grow a mixed collection, oh well.Very nice! How do you grow it compared to other multiflorals? I’ve heard less light, constant moisture, finer media - would be great to get your direct experience. Thanks!
Well please keep us updated with developments. Hopefully it IS adductum and will reward your efforts.I have a plant labeled as adductum, acquired from someone here quite a while ago, but I'll be damned if I remember the source. I have had it maybe 6 or 7 years now, with no blooms.
It is in semi-hydroponics, is fed 100 ppm N weekly, and since moving to North Carolina, where is is against a north-facing window (outside in summer, inside in winter) so a bright sky but no direct sun, and experiences really hot conditions for 7-8 months of the year, it has started to grow quite well.
It currently has two (I suspect) mature growths (or close) with ~35 cm leaves, one about half that and a new one just emerged.
I keep hoping, but if anyone can offer some tips for improved culture, I'd appreciate hearing them!
