this has bloomed non-stop since it arrived in 2018 and is working on another little bud.

Def more glaucophyllum than victoria-mariae overall, but the colors of the pouch were deeper, darker red/pink when it first bloomed. Maybe that’s what they were after? Too bad pouch color fades over time. I’m guessing I landed myself a experimental guinea pig paph!
 
Reason? Marketability and ease of bloom. It’s easier to make thousands of pot plants that consistently bloom over months with easier culture than either species.
